Vantage Infusion (Email)

Requirements

To integrate Vantage Controls with AlertFleet, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  1. Vantage Infusion Controller.
  2. Design Center with Send Email task's procedure support.
  3. Internet Connectivity: The Vantage Infusion controller must be connected to the internet. Ensure the IP gateway is correctly configured.

Vantage systems don't support SSL/TLS SMTP.

Please make sure you have a plan that includes the SMTP E-mail BOX.

Setup Instructions

Setup Vantage SMTP configuration

To configure your SMTP parameters for your Vantage controller:

  1. Open the Design Center application.
  2. On the top bar, select Settings, then Project Information, and select the Email tab.
  3. Enter the following parameters:
    • Server Address: SMTP Host. You might need to use :25 suffix for certain DC versions.
    • User Name: SMTP User.
    • Password: SMTP Password.
  4. Confirm with OK.
  5. Program your Vantage controller. Please note that Update is not enough to apply the SMTP configuration.

Setup Vantage Task

To configure email alerts from your Vantage system:

  1. Open the Design Center application.
  2. Go to the Programming View and create a new Task.
  3. Launch the Procedure Wizard and select the Send Email procedure.
  4. In the Miscellaneous section, fill in the required fields:
