Use SMTP E-mail BOX

The SMTP E-mail BOX allows you to send trigger e-mails from systems that do not support SSL/TLS for SMTP communication.

Requirements​

  • An active subscription plan that includes this feature. Please refer to the pricing page for more details.

Setup​

SMTP Configuration​

  1. Log in to your AlertFleet account.
  2. Navigate to the Subscription page.
  3. In the SMTP E-mail BOX section, retrieve the required SMTP details:
    • Host
    • Port
    • User
  4. Use these credentials in your email-sending system to configure the SMTP connection.

Once your SMTP E-mail BOX is activated, an e-mail will be sent to your account's e-mail address containing the SMTP password.

warning

If you lose the SMTP password, it cannot be retrieved. You will need to reset it, and a new password will be sent to your AlertFleet account's e-mail address.

You can send up to 250 messages in 24 hours.
